Legal Agreement & Authorization

1. Mechanic's Lien Authorization

I hereby authorize Rapid Inspect Auto to perform the requested services on my vehicle. I understand and agree that in the event I fail to pay for services rendered, Rapid Inspect Auto shall have and may enforce an express mechanic's lien on the vehicle as security for the payment of all charges for labor, services, storage, and materials furnished. This lien shall be enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

2. Vehicle Operation Authorization

I authorize Rapid Inspect Auto and its employees to operate the vehicle described above on streets, highways, or elsewhere for the purpose of testing and/or inspection, including but not limited to diagnostic procedures, road testing for repair verification, and vehicle positioning within the facility. I understand this authorization is necessary to properly diagnose, repair, and verify the condition of my vehicle.

3. Diagnostic Fee

I understand that diagnostic services require specialized equipment, expertise, and time. A diagnostic fee of $160.00 will be charged for diagnostic inspection services. If I choose to proceed with the recommended repairs at Rapid Inspect Auto, this diagnostic fee will be applied as a credit toward the total repair cost. If I decline the recommended repairs, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable and due at the time of vehicle pickup.

4. Shop Message

Please do not leave your personal belongings and valuables in the vehicle. We are not responsible for theft, loss, and/or damages. Abandoned vehicles (vehicles abandoned at our facility for more than 1 month) can/will be charged a $35 per day storage fee or can/will be removed from our facility at the owner's expense.

By checking the box below and submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions stated above. I certify that I am the owner of the vehicle or have authority from the owner to authorize these services.
